Hard Enduro pros Billy Bolt and Paul Bolton are guiding two-wheel all-rounder and rookie Carson Brown through this tough course. Will Carson be able to conquer this obstacle?
Billy Bolt stated, “I’m injured this year, so I can’t race. My old friend Paul Bolton and I have come to give Carson Brown, who is here for the first time, some tips on how to get through it.” Carson added, “I’ve never ridden a Hard Enduro in my life, so making it to Carl’s Dinner is definitely going to be an experience.”
This year, Carl’s Dinner is positioned earlier in the race, offering amateur riders a chance to tackle this notorious section. However, it also raises questions about how many will be able to complete it.
Billy and Paul advised Carson to keep his feet on the pegs while navigating the big rocks, choose the right gears, and conserve his tires. They emphasized the importance of experience and strategy in overcoming this challenge.
As Paul Bolton tackled Carl’s Dinner, he emphasized, “Keep a steady pace, try to keep moving slowly, and choose the right lines through the rough terrain.” Carson, pondering future preparations, noted, “Having about 10-15 years of trial riding experience is probably the best way to prepare for this.”
For those eager to see how Carson Brown fares, don’t miss the chance to watch the race live!
